1. Identify (Understanding Your Need) - In Clash of Clans, there is a need for resources (elixir) in order to upgrade spells for battle. 

2. Scope (Knowing What is Available) - Knowing what sources are already pulling elixir.

3. Plan (Developing Research Strategies) - Developing a plan for gaining more elixir. 

4. Gather (Finding What You Need) - Building troops to gain more resources. 

5. Evaluate (Assessing Your Research) - Finding strategy videos and applying them to attacks. 

6. Manage (Organizing the Information) - Reflecting on previous attacks. 

7. Present (Sharing What You Learned) - Posting attacks to Clan chat for feedback.
